Interactive Paving Tribute to Len Goodman

We were honoured to contribute to the creation of this interactive paving installation, commemorating the life and achievements of the late Len Goodman, the highly respected dance professional and much-loved Strictly Come Dancing judge.

Utilising our advanced high-pressure water jet cutting and precision etching techniques, we produced bespoke granite paving elements featuring inlaid footprints, decorative stars, and a selection of Len Goodman's most memorable quotes, including "It's a ten from Len" and "Pickle my walnuts". These elements were precision-cut and set into the granite paving, with grey infill paint applied to emphasise the engraved text and decorative details. The stars were fabricated from gold porcelain, introducing a contrasting texture and finish that enhanced the overall visual impact of the design.

The installation has been designed to encourage visitors to follow in Len Goodman's footsteps, creating an engaging and interactive experience while celebrating his enduring contribution to the world of dance and entertainment.

Located outside the Goodman Dance Academy on Market Street, the artwork was commissioned by Dartford Borough Council and designed by artist Adrian Riley. We are proud to have supported the delivery of this distinctive public art installation, creating a lasting tribute to one of Britain's most celebrated dance personalities.
